The Bethesda Terrace & Fountain
Iconic for that one Gossip Girl scene and the gorgeous architecture, the Bethesda Terrace & Fountain is a hot spot for activities in Central Park, especially in the summer.
The Mall
If you’re shooting at The Mall, shoot in the center of the aisles, with the lampposts, and keep an eye out for hot dog stands in the summer!
The Reservoir
Visit The Reservoir at different times of the year to see different blooms!
Bridge No. 27
Right off The Reservoir, you can find iconic Central Park bridge architecture on Bridge No. 27.
Cherry Hill
The cherry blossoms in Central Park during the spring make for the best photoshoot locations! You can find the first blooms on the aptly named Cherry Hill.
The Bridal Path
Another great spot to find cherry blossoms in the park later in the season is the Bridal Path that runs along the west side of The Reservoir.
Pine Bank Arch
Right by Umpire Rock is another picturesque bridge over the Pine Bank Arch.
Bow Bridge
You will find many weddings being photographed on the Bow Bridge, and for good reason! It’s an absolutely gorgeous and iconic feature of Central Park.
The Pond & Gapstow Bridge
In the southeast corner of Central Park is The Pond and the Gapstow Bridge. These spots offer both a breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and a slow, pastoral feel in middle of the city.
Ramble Stone Arch
Hidden deep in The Ramble is the Stone Arch, which will instantly transport you to a scene of your favorite fairytale. Get lost in The Ramble to discover other amazing photoshoot spots in the park.
Belvedere Castle
Many people new to New York City are surprised to see a castle in the middle of Central Park! Perfect for romantic Central Park photoshoots, Belvedere Castle has many nooks and crannies to explore.
The Turtle Pond
The Belvedere Castle looks over the Turtle Pond, which ACTUALLY has turtles in it! The pond is perfect for picnics and photoshoots.
Shakespeare Garden
While I’ve only shot here in the fall, the Shakespeare Garden is in full bloom during spring and worth checking out for a Central Park photoshoot.
The Met
Live your most glamorous Met Gala or Gossip Girl life on the steps of the Met! Just on the edge of the park on 5th Ave, the Met campus is beautiful for photos.
The Lake
There’s an endless amount of photogenic spots around The Lake – including The Bow Bridge, Loeb Boathouse, Bethesda Fountain, and multiple other bridges.
Greyshot Arch
Head straight north from Columbus Circle and you’ll find the Greyshot Arch. It’s the most gorgeous in the fall!
